The KPI report helps track employee productivity and workload by monitoring interactions with shipments and calculating working time based on predefined activity time buckets. KPI data can be accessed in two ways: through Reports and through Tools. While both provide valuable insights, each is designed for a slightly different purpose.
The Reports section focuses on detailed metrics and downloadable data, while the Tools view provides a visual, time-based snapshot for daily performance monitoring.
Viewing KPI Data from Reports (Key Performance Indicator Report)
To begin tracking employee performance, navigate to Reports from the left-hand menu and select Key Performance Indicator (KPI).
You will be taken to the KPI Report screen, where you can configure and generate performance data.
On this page, you will find:
Start Date / End Date – Select the date range for the data you want to analyze. You can also use the Today shortcut to quickly set the current date.
Run Report – Generates the KPI report based on your selected date range.
Save detailed data as CSV – Downloads a CSV file containing all activity-level details.
Save summary data as CSV – Downloads a summarized version of the KPI results.
Once the report is generated, a table will appear displaying employee activity metrics, including:
User Full Name – The employee associated with the activity.
Activity – The specific action performed (for example, rating_requested or shipment_canceled).
Activity Count – Number of times the activity occurred.
Activity Count % – Percentage contribution of that activity.
Activity Weighted Time – Time value assigned to each activity.
Total Weighted Time for User – Total weighted time across all activities for that user.
Activity Weighted Time % – Percentage of total weighted time per activity.
The KPI report tracks employee interactions with shipments and calculates working time based on predefined time buckets assigned to each activity. These activities may include customs entry, tracking updates, and other configured actions. External agent activity can also be captured when applicable, providing a complete view of operational workload.
Viewing KPI Data from Tools (Key Performance Chart)
In addition to accessing KPIs from Reports, you can also view KPI data by navigating to Tools in the left-hand menu and selecting Key Performance Chart.
This view presents KPI information in a visual, time-based format, allowing you to quickly understand team activity throughout the day.
On the Key Performance Chart screen, you will see:
Date Selector – Choose the specific day you want to analyze. You can also use the Today option for current-day data.
Team Activities by Day – Displays each team member along with their total weighted activity time for the selected date.
Timeline Chart (24-hour view) – A horizontal timeline showing when activities occurred during the day. Each marker represents a weighted KPI event plotted across a 24-hour period.
Total Weighted Time per User – Shown next to each user’s name, summarizing overall performance for that day.
This chart provides a quick visual snapshot of:
When employees are most active
How workload is distributed across the day
Individual daily performance at a glance
While the Reports KPI section focuses on detailed metrics and downloadable data, the Tools Key Performance Chart provides a quick, visual way to analyze activity and monitor daily employee performance.
